I have to start this by saying, I REALLY REALLY enjoyed this book! A detailed whodunit domestic thriller, “No One Can Know” keeps the reader invested in the story of the Palmer family while guessing how things went wrong. Once I started reading I had a hard time putting this book down.
After falling on harder times, Emma and her husband come back to her childhood home, one that she and her sisters own after the murder of her parents. In doing so, Emma has to confront her past as the #1 suspect of her parent’s murder as well as let her husband in on secrets she fought hard to keep hidden.
This thriller was riveting, giving the reader just enough detail chapter by chapter to keep my on the edge of my seat. Every time I thought I had the ending figured out, something new was added to change my suspicions. There are a ton of plot twists in this book, and I was here for all of them. None of them seemed far fetched and I think they added to the overall story. I grew to like each sister and became invested in their stories. When I got to the end of the book, I wasn’t letdown or frustrated with the ending at all.
I will say that I always thought I was further along in the book than my kindle told me I was. There is a lot of detail and quite a few twists that make you think rather than speed through the book…with that said, I really enjoyed this one and think those who like a good thriller will as well.
