'Detective Comics #941' by James Tynion IV and Steve Orlando continues the "Night of the Monster Men" story with part 3. Things are even more out of control for Gotham and the Batman family.

The refugees have reached the cave, but they've brought something with them. A strange substance is on them which is making them act violent and Orphan and Spoiler have their hands full. It doesn't help that they have no radio contact with Batman and Batwoman. Meanwhile, Nightwing is trying to keep Gotham Girl under control.

I don't know how long this storyline is going, but it's getting more and more chaotic. I'm having a fun time reading it. It's a pretty big story with a good cast of characters. Now on to Batman #8 for part four of the story!

I received a review copy of this issue from DC Entertainment and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this comic book.

Applaudible … yes that’s the word to describe it .

By All means the fact that Batman is fighting MONSTERS that are actually artificial is pretty weird and yet part 3 of the Night of the Monster Men continues to make that silly plot turn out to be a pretty descent and action packed series .

The issue portrayed the events that occurred following Nightwing catching up with Gotham Girl and like it wasn’t enough that our Heroes had their hand full with the frigging Kaijus now there were more trouble that have left Batman and Batwoman separated from the rest of the team while new monsters have arrived that Batman would surely have difficulty facing .

Considering the splendid artwork displayed on the Detective comics before this issue looked lacklusture despite having decent artwork , I guess it just portrays how good Eddy Barrows and Alvaro Martinez have been that a new artist whose work was welcome in Batman and Nightwing issue is frowned upon when it's in Detective comics .

In terms of story the pace is still pretty good but worryingly it’s starting to appear as if there’s a lot of things going on at the moment and one fears if the authors will rush things to conclusion in the next 3 issues , Only time will tell so far Night Of Monster Men continue doing it’s usual good work.

As always since Rebirth started, this is the best of the Bat books involved in this event. Team dynamics are strong, twist at the end is exciting. First issue that's made me WANT to read this event.
