THE QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS, by Shari Randall, is a sweet cozy Christmas short story to welcome in the holiday season! Starring the characters of The Lobster Shack Cozy Mystery series, protagonist Allie Larkin has been asked to portray the Sugar Plum Fairy at the annual Festival of Trees fundraiser. Ms. Randall manages to fill each page with all the favorite things the Christmas season has to offer. There are pine trees and decorations galore, sweet treats and egg nog, carols and friends gathering, and Mrs. Clause as portrayed by Allie’s Aunt Gully. Amongst the holiday cheer there is a light mystery that brings a bit of intrigue and is quickly solved by Allie. During the hectic holiday season, this is a fun story to relax with while sipping on a hot toddy made from the recipe included at the back of the book.
