| Craving More!
Considering the low to average ratings for this book I'm wondering if I missed something. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book to Talon and Jade's story, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

So...

Was it the best writing I've ever read? No. Was it the most outstanding storyline I've ever read? Again, no. However, did it keep me enthralled throughout? Yes! I started this last night and zoomed through it. I instantly wanted to know more about Talon and his heartbreaking story, and because I have a soft spot for broken heroes—I couldn't NOT want to love him. Like I said above, I'm looking forward to reading more, I'm especially looking forward to seeing Talon heal and be free of his demons. I'm also looking forward to seeing how Jade will deal with those demons, and how she will help him.

I’ve heard nothing but great this about this series and unfortunately I’m not sure if I agree. My two friends that read it flew through this series so fast and yet I can hardly push myself through the books. The sex scenes are lax, I feel as though nothing happened. It’s like it’s a fade to black but it doesn’t, if you know what I mean.
I’m going to try and read the rest because I am still interested in the series enough to continue. I just don’t know where I’ll end up stopping.

Talon and Jade are two characters I can really feel are coming off the pages in this book. Talon has a lot of things that he needs to work out and we see parts of what has happened to him. Jade is trying to get her life back together after being left at the alter. That doesn't even count what Majorie finds out while trying to figure out what is going on with Talon.

This is the first book by just Helen Hardt that I have read and I am going to have to check my local bookstore to see if I can get the next in the series as she ends it with a cliff hanger.

Well this definitely was one hot and steamy read. Borderline mommy-porn. I did not like Talon character much, but judging by the childhood trauma I even wondered he had as much life in him as it was. The ending felt chopped off and I wanted a better ending. The characters felt a bit shallow and flat, but might be just my opinion.
