I really enjoyed the other two books and truly looked forward to the finale, but this book fell so short. With so much time spent building the relationships between Lia, Jude and Riley for it to all end in a such a quick and unexpected way, I still don't understand how it could all just be gone. So much was built up with no real resolve ( Jude and Lia). It really is a sad disappointment for me.

I don't know about this series. I felt very confused by the ending. Really, like many trilogies I've read, I found myself most compelled by the first book. It was so deep and complicated! But each subsequent novel grew more superficial and I have to say that there wasn't much substance to either #2 or #3. Still, an interesting series -- but one that could have been better executed.

OK.. I really wanted to love this book. I loved the first 2, and was looking forward to completing the series. This book fell short. The book is all about what makes humans human, and all through the series the author made me think of the mechs as human, but when the main characters boyfriend dies, I did not feel sad, upset, or angry. The ending of the book was also dumb. It felt like the author got bored writing this book and just ended it.

My brain can't really process the ending of this book right now. I read this on my nook, so when I got to the ending I turned the page and saw The acknowledgements and went, "What? That's the end? What was Phase Three? What did Kiri have to do with all of this? Do they bring Riley back? What happens?!"

Needless to say, the ending to this series was not in any way sufficient in my opinion. I think that after everything that has happened in the trilogy, Wasserman owed us more of an ending than, "I can save them all. And I will. Whether they want me to or not."

another great book - really left you on the edge of your seat for most of the book. didn't particularly like the ending of the book though. i understand the reasoning behind it but it felt a little rushed and didn't really answer all the questions I had left lingering!

Well thank god the characters in this series finally show a few redeeming qualities. Not many, but enough to make me like them a little more. I enjoyed this book much better than Crashed. I thought it had a great & unpredictable ending. Overall I liked this series

I quite liked the conclusion to this series. It had a lot of twists and turns I never saw coming. I liked that the main character is a little hard to identify with. I liked it because she isn't exactly human so the character seems more believable in that regard.
