Absolutely LOVED this book!! This collaboration of authors created both hilarious moments and a hint of romance, all nestled in amongst the things that life brings. It was such a good read and definitely one I will have to read again.

The characters, including the mains, the supporting and the culprits of the adventure all came together to create a wondrous story that was exciting throughout. They were all given lots of character, detail and background to really bring each one to life. I found it made the story and the people very easy to connect with and become part of the story.

I loved the pace, as I really found it exciting and fun. It matched the road trip style and made it really feel as though I was on a very hilarious journey.

Overall, this was a joyous read that I enjoyed from cover to cover and one I wholeheartedly recommend, especially if you want a funny read for your summer!

An easy read. Was a tad misogynistic calling him a manwhore every chapter but a good read none the less

Road Trip by Andie M. Long and Laura Barnard is a romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Victoria Fitzgerald.

Andie and Laura did an amazing job on this storyline. I absolutely loved it! The back and forth between Katy and Felix was amazing!

Victoria did an amazing job on the narration! Her voice was perfect for the characters! I can’t wait to listen to more of her work in the future.

I would highly recommend the book if you love Romantic Comedies.

Felix and Katy are an absolute riot.
Their crazy trip is all kinds of over-the-top shenanigans. Hilarious and ridiculous. From the people they meet, to the crazy stuff they do... this book kept me smiling and laughing all the way to the very end.
It’s a short but (mostly) lighthearted read that reminds you that not everything you hear is true. And sometimes, the person you thought you -kind of- knew is completely different from your first impressions.

Audio review:
Ha! This book had me laughing out loud at the ridiculousness of some of the antics they got up to. It was fun, flirty and so cute.
Although Victoria didn't really do "male" and "female" voices, it was very enjoyable.

This was the first book by Laura Barnard that I have read or listened to. I've helped promote her books in the past but for some reason this one caught my eye, or ear I should say, and I had to give her a try. Oh my gosh, this was such a fun trip!

I listened to the audio-book on my morning walks and I literally laughed out loud in parts! What did the neighbors think, I wonder?

I spent a lot of time with the quirky characters, Katy and Felix, and their zany escapades as they traveled together to job interviews. Katy can't stand being around Felix, who has a reputation for being a 'player' and Felix likes to get Katy's goat in any way that he can. I loved the back and forth banter the two of them got themselves into.

Road Trip is a hilarious, fun adventure that you really need to take. Enjoy the ride.... and the laughs!

What could be better than a humorous book written by two of my favourite authors. This was a laugh out loud book which I highly recommend to anyone who needs cheering up. Shut yourself away with this book for a few hours and I guarantee you will come out of it feeling so much better.

Can’t wait to see more from the authors.

I’m torn whether to give this book 4 or 5 stars because I loved all of the book right until the end. The ending was disappointing, I needed more! It left me with so many questions, I wanted it to keep going.
The combination of writers made an incredible book. I love Laura anyway and the addition of another author improved it even more! I will definitely be looking at some of Andies books!
This is such a good romcom and it added some more interesting ideas that you have to read to find out! 100% recommend. Just prepare yourself to be left wanting more at the end of the book!

This book is HILARIOUS!
Kat and Felix both lose their job after a prank goes wrong. Off they go around the country for job interviews. The only trouble is, mischief and unfortunate events follow them everywhere they go!

This book is brilliantly written. It’s sharp, funny and sexy! If anyone needs a good laugh this is the book for you!

Katy walks in on her fiancee with her sister in a way that has Katy walking out and looking at Felix Montague for help. Felix is known around the school she teaches at as a bit of a player, he has never glanced her way but she needs his help with a little make believe payback. Felix knows of Katy and knows she has helped swirl the rumor mill about him never once trying to find out if it is true. Felix decides to make his own conditions to help her out. One thing leads to another and both Katy and Felix find themselves having to share a road trip that leads to a little bit more.

I listened to this on audiobook and initially the accent is a bit heavy but it works. This story reminded me of Bridget Jones a bit especially Katy's mom. I thought the humor was spot on in this one. I liked Felix and Katy, I enjoyed seeing how they begin to realize they are not what the other assumed about them. Some really funny laugh out loud moments. Delightful road trip book.

Road Trip by @laurabarnardauthor was everything I needed in my life.⁣

This was a HILARIOUS, laugh out loud rom-com from the very first page. Anyone else’s favorite trope enemies to lovers? I literally picked this book up thinking I would just read a few chapters and I got sucked right in and read it to the very end because I just couldn’t put it down.⁣

I say this every time but British banter is seriously the best. It is my favorite. ⁣

Katy is engaged to be married to Dick and has the twin sister from hell. Katy is an uptight English teacher who works with a sexy History teacher Felix, and they hate each other. They both lose their jobs, and end up on a road trip across England for multiple interviews with very little money to their names. Felix loves to prank people. Katy is pretty tightly wound. This was such a pleasure to read chapter after chapter of everything that went on during this road trip. ⁣

This is also available on audible now! ⁣
