Amelia Grey is back home, back to where she ran from. The place her heart was taken by Devlin, and where she left it broken. Her father told her, warned her not to communicate the ghosts but she did. Now she is back and her greatest fear is all around her.

Mariama, Devlin's dead but not gone wife and his daughter Shani still haunt him and drive Amelia away. It seems Mariama and her brother had very strong ties to an ancient sorcerery, used for evil purposes. She is tied so tight around Devin, he is weakening and the brief encounters with him are draining Amelia to a dangerous point.

A cop has been killed. He haunts her and want her to find his killer, but he does not remember anything except a smell. Then there is something about Devlin's daughters death, he remembers something...

An exciting chapter in the GraveYard Queen saga. This has become one of my favorite series. It's filled with thrills and chills on every page.

Finished it in a few hours. It was amazing. I think I could even say it's the best one in the saga. Firs book was really good, second wasn't bad but no as good as the previous one. And this one, the third, was amazing. Not only because the way it's written that let's you imagine everything as if you were watching a movie, but also because it has the right amount of all it's components (mystery, secrets, past, characters development and love).
The ending (I won't reveal in the review) was unexpected in some aspects and there was some details I think didn't make much sense to me at the moment but now, thinking about it, was logical and surprised readers.
I liked it. No, I loved it.

I think I have a new favorite author! I loved this series so much! Whether it came into my life when I really needed an escape or what, it does not matter. Amanda Stevens has such a way of pulling you into the story to where I was longing for the main character's love as much as she was. Suspenseful and engaging until the very end, I cannot recommend this series enough!

Well. It certainly wasn't at all bad. But I wanted more. I really enjoyed this series, and I wanted it to wrap out with a bang. The last stretch of this was more of a whimper, and I can't help feeling a bit unsatisfied.

Oh well. I'm still happy to have read it.

Ugh, echt waar. Heb ik hier mijn tijd aan verspild? Wat een afgeraffeld einde. Sloeg nergens op, heel dit boek sloeg nergens op.

The audio was excellent as usual but the book... hmm, I really liked the last one. It was so spooky and mysterious and we got some really neat reveals.

This one just fell a bit flat for me. I was a bit irritated with Amelia from the start
Spoilerstalking Devlin, being all weird around him...
. She got progressively better as the book went on however I felt
Spoilerthe ending was really weird and I'm not really sure what to event think about this series now.

Ooooo twists and turns galore. totally loved this series. If anything, maybe the last book felt a little rushed near the end, although the momentum was exciting. I am so sad it is all over!

In [b:The Prophet|13024331|The Prophet (Graveyard Queen, #3)|Amanda Stevens|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1322258553s/13024331.jpg|18187177] Amelia returns to the safety of Charleston, SC, only to be haunted by a murdered detective who needs her help to find his killer. I liked this book because Stevens is very detailed in describing the beauty and mystery of the city of Charleston; however, this book reads more like a paranormal romance and wasn't as spooky as the first two in the series. Stevens does wrap up the series, but with a few twists.
