We listened to this one on CD during a family road trip. Everyone loved it. Can't wait to try out more audiobooks!

Clementine is 8 and a half and life is unfair. She lost her favorite hat, her parents announce they're having a baby and Clementine's science project runs away! Will she be able to construct a way to survive this week?

I do love the character Clementine. But after a few books of Clementine's nervous breakdowns, it all runs together. This book was just okay.

Occasionally I worry that Ms. Pennypacker will miss the mark in one of her Clementine books. However, she has yet to disappoint me. This book does a remarkable job of telling a story without moralizing, but with great feeling and expression. Very lovely.

Read to Isabel: Our last Clementine book we had left to read and we’re both so sad it’s over. Clementine and her friends and family are just the most charming, warm, and funny characters in kid lit. This book felt lighter than some of the others in terms of substance. Clementine was dealing with a new baby coming into her family but she didn’t grapple with it so much or as much as I expected her to but it was still a lovely, fun read.

What a well written book. For those looking for a non-bratty realistic fiction book 1-3 read aloud and a 3-4 readers who just want someone who is learning how to manage their world

As always reading Clementine is so much fun! This is typical Clementine with loads of fun and laughter. The one thing that I really loved about this particular entry in the series is that it deals with the "new baby" issue, but not in such a preachy way. Yes, it's the main plot point, but just like clementines have sections, so does Clementine and her story.
