I understand this is a reissue of one of Sandra Brown's earlier works and I'm more than happy that she has improved her story telling by leaps and bonds. This was a simple love story with an indecisive heroine character, which at times makes the situations quite silly.

Originally published in1982. That explains why this book is not on a par with her more recent books. It was probably one of the steamy romances she published under a pseudonym. The chemistry between the two outs engaging, but the story is trivial, predictable, and somewhat silly. Note to self: don't snap up Sandra Brown novels just because they are recent releases.

There is nothing about a Sandra Brown book that I don't like.
