Was a very good book teaching us about Lunar new year! I learnt about the chinese culture along with the toddler!

For a board book there were WAY too many words. I think it would have been a great Reader or Picture Book!

GOOD FOR: teaching about the Chinese Spring Festival
I work at a school that houses international students on campus. A lot of them are from China. Every year, we celebrate Spring Festival with them, and this year I wanted to really focus on educating our non-Chinese students about the celebration. I purchased this book for that reason - to educate about the festival. I read it with my Chinese students before to make sure that it gave an accurate portrayal of some of the traditions. They liked it very much. It is a great resource and the illustrations are absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful pictures!
