maintaining, for the most part, the well written, and excellently drawn, story line. amazing and wonderful that Willingham and crew and so awesomely created this world, which I hope exists down one of the trousers of time.

Sweeping and intense and epic as the final battle of Lord of the Rings. The moment literally only I have been waiting for because I am the only person I know reading this series

For such an amazing lead-up to the final confrontation, this one was disappointing.

The Adversary is built up as this unstoppable, horrific enemy and he goes out with a whimper as the Fables bring the full might of modern technology against him. For such a great series, it was disappointingly easy.

I'm still giving it three stars because the battles were still epic and awesome at points and I loved seeing the characters go to war but it's definitely a let-down for me.
