Not sure how I felt about the ending, it finished rather abruptly and I don't really see how what they did to 'fix' the situation would actually have worked but never mind!

Can't wait to finish the rest of the series, sooo good. Already one of my fave YA series.

Mr. Scarrow needs to work on character development and world building. That plot twist at the end was woah, but this reminded me too much of the Great Zoo of china. This felt unstructured and messy, even though the concept is pretty amazing. But it hasn't been well thought out. And also the names. Do a little research, please. Sal is discomforting and Becks? I mean none of those were any names i could connect to. Names have power, you know? Anyway, this could have easily been a five star if this was written, more structured and put together than all over the place, and oh god, the missing letters, the editorial errors, I don't know if this is just in my edition or common, but that was a serious put off. I was 90% towards giving up on this just because of them. Dear Editors, you had one job. But yeah, the story and the way the author went about it was interesting if not altogether original. Enjoyable. But bland. I should have had lower expectations, maybe.

I like this series, it's a great point between fantasy and this could happen for real. The characters are very likable and relatable. Overall it's just a great read that I woeld recommend for sure.
It was the first book I ever read in an ebook version and it wasn't so bad, I didn't thought I would like to read digital, but it was quite okay!

Fast-paced, non-stop action and adventure. I couldn't put it down. Several books of this series was a gift to my brother. He didn't like the books and after he gifted them to me I was hesitant to read them at first. However I am so glad I did. Don't let the cover fool you into thinking this book juvenile or stupid. Yes it is a young adult adventure about time travel. But it's really well written and has some dark and very interesting speculative science fiction aspects, albeit easily explained. I liked the plot overall, the characters and their back stories, the part about a species of intellectual dinosaurs similar to human beings and how there is still so much humans don't know about the world, the idea of alternative realities and the flesh and tissue based robot. The only part I really didn't like was one character's constant blasphemy.
