As someone who is fascinated by Antarctica, I enjoyed this book. It's a good, short read. If you have any interest in Antarctica or the concept of exploration, you'll probably enjoy it, too.

Beautifully written and narrated. Sometimes I got a bit confused about the timeline (whether the Worsley he referenced was Henry or his father), and I still struggle to come to terms with Henry choosing this mission over many more years he could have had with his family. But I guess that’s the point, to a degree. I don’t usually pick up nonfiction, but this is my second David Grann book, and I’m anxious to read more.
