Her Dream Cowboy -- Luke is the Nevada guest ranch owner, and Sophie's vacationing from England. Luke tried to be hands-off but his attraction to Sophie won out. Their chemistry was sizzling HOT! When her ex-husband arrives at the ranch wanting her back, will she go back to England or will she decide to stay with her sexy dream cowboy, Luke? Wonderful afternoon short story! Samantha Holt knows how to write a cowboy! I can't wait to read more from this amazing author.
Layover -- This is the story of Locke and Wilder. This story is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Locke's a security expert and Wilder's a rodeo cowboy. My first thought was, what a cliche! Two guys meet in a bar and go home together. By the end of the book I was upset that it was over so soon. I loved it! I want to know more about these two men! Thank you C.V. Madison for this amazing short story! This is an author I will definitely read more of.
Faith, Hope, and Charity -- This is a love-at-first-sight short story. Johnny and Faith met at a town dance. The story is about them and their struggle to be together despite her father, Sloan's, attempts at ending Johnny's life. Personally, I feel that everything they did would not have been possible without the help of her mother, Estelle. Estelle is the real backbone of this story. Eventually she recognized the feelings between the two and did all she could to help them, but would it be enough? Would Sloan catch up with Johnny and make good on his promise to end his life? This was the perfect amount of detail and character growth for being a short story. Thank you J.T. Seate for such a complete and enjoyable short.
