I picked this up on a whim and it was a good time. This follows O’Neal Lory who has been sheltered her whole life after losing her mother to the party and college life. She was looked after by her strict grandparents. After a spontaneous moment at 18, she decided to kiss her best friend’s brother Auden. Now at 19, she is at the same college as Auden and ready to finally live her life and make her own decisions…

I listened to this on audio and the narrator Samantha Summers did an amazing job. I love how Auden and Lennox show O’Neal the way these two men make me swoon. The care compassion and understanding of how inexperienced she is gave me butterflies. I just really enjoyed this book. Just a couple of things,
it is told in third person. For me, that isn’t an issue but others may struggle. It is repetitive with O’Neal being inexperienced but I managed to push it aside. Lastly the investigation I thought it would dive into it more but it didn’t. I wanted answers to what happened. But other than that this was a great read and the spice was so good. The praising, commanding and the aftercare stop these men are too good to be true.

After a complicated year with reading, I finally have the hunger and focus to read books! Not only has the reading drought ended, but it has picked up full steam with a favorite author, Roni Loren, and an advance copy of her forthcoming title Good Girl Fail

I was introduced to Roni’s books several years ago with her series The Ones Who Got Away. She has since become an auto-buy author for me, and I am delighted to say that Good Girl Fail did not disappoint.

Even since O’Neal’s mother was brutally murdered when she was five, her conservative, catholic, and extremely overprotective grandparents have dictated her life.  And she followed their rules to the letter of the law, perfect grades, no rules broken, and definitely zero boys or romance.
That is until she secretly applies to a different college than where her grandparents have decided, and impulsively kisses her best friend’s very attractive older brother.

Auden knew kissing her back was a bad idea, and had tried very hard to forget it, especially when he found out that O’Neal’s grandparents kicked her out of the house, and family, for the simple act of attending Bennette University, which also happened to be his university. He tried forgetting about the kiss when his mother and sister asked him to keep an eye on O’Neal. Which wouldn’t be so hard, if he wasn’t so attracted to her. But he has his kinks and is determined to keep her innocent of them all.

But she is equally determined. Not does she have the burning desire to ace all the tests he throws her way, but to get to know him, as well as his equally attractive best friend Lennox, a whole lot more intimately.

Fair warning, this is a very steamy Erotic Romance, with an MMF menage. Which I will confess is not usually my cup of tea, but honestly, it has been years since I have devoured a book as quickly as I did with GOOD GIRL FAIL.

Good Girl Fail comes out in e-book format on January 17th,2023, with the physical book to follow.
