Very informative and gives a good run-down on Gramsci’s life and beliefs. I wish there had been a bit more theory discussed, but given the size and aim of the book, that would perhaps be difficult to incorporate to any significant degree. One thing I definitely wish there was more of, however, was citations when theory was mentioned, so that one could read the full text on that theory if they wanted to. Given that Gramsci’s Prison Notebooks alone are almost 3000 pages, it’s not exactly feasible to skim through them to try find the ideas you wanted to read more on!
