I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book is truly well written, the characters are well developed and personable. Marsha and Colin are very easy to relate to. Colin is the Bass player for the band Lush, he is a recovering addict. Marsha was the love of his life years ago, but something happened (I will not give spoilers) that drove them apart. Now ten years later they find themselves in the same small Texas town.
Marsha has a son and her ex is in jail. She never stopped loving Colin and now after all these years she finds herself in the same town as him. Life is about to get interesting for Marsha and Colin. This is a wonderful love story that tackles some really difficult subjects. Check it out you will not be sorry.

A Lush Reunion by Selena Laurence is an example of how first person present should work. Normally I am not a fan of first person, and hate first person present, but I enjoyed this book. I was able to predict this story line pretty easily, however it was still a good book. Colin and Marsha had a complicated past and with Colin's fame, it comes out in their tiny Texas town. They have a lot of hurt to work through, but they do eventually get their HEA. I am curious about the rest of Colin's band members, so I may have to look into Selena Laurence's other books. I give this book 4 stars and will probably read it again.

A Lush Reunion is everything I love about second chance love stories! When Colin and Marsha reunite, 10 years after a heart-breaking end to their romance, neither can deny the feelings they still have for one another. Would they overcome past hurts, and finally learn to trust in their love? I sped through the pages, anxious to see them achieve their happily ever after!
So many things made this book one of my favorite reads of 2015. Selena Laurence's writing is superb! I love how the setting, characters, and dialogue flowed so perfectly. Colin and Marsha were such fantastic characters. I loved the growth that they both showed as the story moved along! Their chemistry sizzled, but more importantly, they had a deep emotional connection that could not be denied. The romance, oh the romance...there's just something so sweet about reunited high school sweethearts. Colin's determination to show Marsha that he would support her and Sean was such a wonderful thing to read. His resolve to be a compassionate presence in Marsha's life was absolutely swoon-worthy! I loved the interactions between them that involved Sean, too. He is such an adorable kid! Lastly, the sense of family and community really came through in this story. I so enjoyed the way the cast of characters came together to support Colin, Marsha and Sean. Of course, it was great to catch up again with the rest of the Lush family. This group stole my heart in book one and has retained a firm grip on it since.
Lush reunion is the perfect title for this phenomenal story! Selena Laurence provided a perfectly luxurious book escape!

Favorite quote:
"I think that even if I was only seventeen, I loved you-genuinely and completely. And I think all these years later I'm not sure if I've forgiven you, but I'm also not sure I've stopped loving you."

I never expected Colin to have so much depth. He's a revelation in this book. I liked how it all came together at the end. And kudos to Selena Laurence for writing about some touchy subjects. This series have been really good overall and I'm sad to see it end.

Anyway, full review to come closer to the release date...
