Free Comic Book Day 2016 was a blast, but my favorite part was this Korra comic. (This review is only for the Korra comic). Short, but touching, this well-written little story (written by Avatar co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino himself) perfectly captures the life of young Avatar Korra and tells a great little story of how she met and befriended her animal companion, Naga. Furthermore, the art is simply incredible. Gurihiru sets a high standard with their Avatar comics, but Campbell's work here is just as visually appealing in its own way. Overall, this was a a great comic.
