I loved the concept when I read the book description, and the short story lived up to my expectations.
Lou is a true psychopathic killer, but with a single soft spot in his heart for the single mother and her daughter that live next to him in a "white trash" trailer park -- his chosen retirement spot.
And yet, he's the hero of the zombie apocalypse.
Love it.
