It's an interesting story but....
Too many characters, too thin a plot, David vs Goliath type of story, a little too conspiracy minded for my taste. But like I said, it's interesting so I will be going thru the next book to finish it off.

Read about 50-60 pages, started to hate it. Read some reviews, and figured out why. A little too military libertarian for me.
3.5. fast paced thrilling story until the end which was bogged down with military jargon an abrupt end. i enjoyed the dystopian story more than the main plot line.

Very enjoyable new series to me.
I won in the giveaway Steven's Rogue State. It is the second book. Since it was part of a series that sounded interesting. I wanted to read this first book before reading the second one. I enjoyed this first book. I enjoyed his details and knowledge he brought to the story. I am excited to finish this book and diving into the next one.

Fast paced, fairly standard action novel. Competently written.
Going to give this one 3 stars, quite enjoyable but also rather reminds me of the Perseid Collapse series by the same author.
