Wow, wow, wow and some more wow. This was brilliantly written. It was so suspenseful, a really brought the story to life. I connected with the main character, I wanted to know what happened to her brother, how she was and then we get twists thrown at us, with her husband and everything becomes layer after layer of deceit and mystery. Truly, I was hooked from the first page and any thriller lovers would be as well. I highly recommend this book!

Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins Publishing for the ARC of this novel. The premise for this story was very good and for most of the book, I was engaged; however, I wanted more of a domestic psychosocial thriller. It was a quick, easy read with a few twists and turns and I was invested in the main character, Lucy, I just wanted more.

Slow start, unlikable characters and mystery/thrilling elements are not appearing quickly enough.
Is very bland/boring
