I thoroughly enjoyed this (audio) book! First of all I was really lured in by the cover art, because the characters both look absolutely gorgeous, and Delilah was very quickly growing on me. Partially because she's a photographer and I can relate to that quite a bit.

The story itself had me hooked almost instantly and it stayed that way. I really enjoyed the alternating POVs, which really made sense in this case and added a lot. All the characters have a distinct personality, no mary sues here!

There's some smut scenes that were incredibly good and I thoroughly enjoyed those too. The emotions came across so vividly, it was lovely <3 The narrator did a phenomenal job too!

Let’s be honest, it took me a while to get through this book, but that was definitely not because it’s not worth reading it.
I really liked the characters and the setting in general was very nice and cozy. But I need to say, the story was not particularly exciting or anything. It was more or less predictable (apart from the side story about the relationship between Astrid and Delilah, which I actually found pretty interesting).

So it was a pretty good book and I definitely enjoyed reading it, but it was a rather average queer love story. Nevertheless, I bought the second volume only one day after finishing this book😁

First sapphic read and I'm here for it - queer girls for the win! I was a bit surprised to see how well balanced the spice and story was; the story was well thought out. Looking forward to continuing this series.

Annoyed me how much the author used “lavender” as a descriptor! We get it it’s gay XD. Will read other books by author tho.

This was a fantastic book - easy to get into, quick to start caring about most of the characters, good development of plot and characters, and chef’s kiss spicy scenes. Loved Delilah and Claire’s story even if I wanted to yell at them for being idiots sometimes. Can’t wait to read the other ones in the series.
