If you are a Doors fan, this is a good look behind the curtain of the band.

Tupac and him...you have to wonder if they are still alive. The way this ended, it makes me think so.

Someone else should have written this biography. The story was fascinating, but the writing was awful.

This book was a bit up and down. I'm a HUGE Doors fan and would happily have eloped with Jim Morrison (before he grew that awful beard!)so I was keen to read this. Trouble is the author is obviously a big butt kissing fan who makes him out to be a God instead of the flawed human being that he was. It was a bit too sickly sweet fan worship territory though the book is full of good detail and photos. Wish the pictures has been silky colour instead of grainy black and white!

Connor's use of this as a prop in our film was the best memory of it

Biography of Jim Morrison that on the one hand is greatly interesting since Jim is my favourite artist, but slightly exaggerated and blown-up story: no to little separation between stage persona and sober Jim.
