Luke!! I love a good redemption plot, so I've been excited for this story since early on in the series. Luke is one of those guys, handsome, buckets of charm, and an all-around good guy, but he's been sowing his wild oats and avoided growing up for way too long. Then, circumstances change and Elle walks backs into his life. It's just too bad he's spent so many years showing people he's a cad when it comes to women. How's he going to convince Elle that he's ready for a new kind of life? Diapers and all.
A pitch perfect addition to The Storms of New England series. I could read all these books over and over again. Perhaps I have already... The love and camaraderie and struggles and fears faced by the characters are so real, so a part of everyday life, you can't help but feel every second. Luke's struggle, having gone through a real change yet having the people he loves most doubt him, is compelling and familiar. You can't help but root for him and Elle to find their happily ever after. I'm also a total sucker for babies.
