Once again, Victoria Schwab's incredible writing, multi-layered characters, and well-developed world make for an enthralling read.

I wish I had this book as a teenager, I’m pretty sure it would have been one of my favourites then. Rn, I’m just glad I did end up reading it

I liked this more than I thought I would. I’m generally suspicious of books with a high school as a setting, but the more I read, the more I was drawn in.

The first time I read this book, I gave it four stars - the second time I read it, all the small things I hadn't liked about it the first time all made a lot more sense to me, and I now feel like I have no reason not to give it all five stars

This book is so brilliantly unique, the whole concept is one of the most interesting things I've read about since the Darker Shade of Magic series - coincidentally by the same author. I love all of Schwab's work and I cannot wait to read Our Dark Duet and see what she comes up with in the future

This book was quite good. It would of gotten a 5 stars but I didn’t feel as connected to the story as I usually would with a 5 star book. Nonetheless it was still enjoyable.
