I can't believe you can read something this good for free. While it's not the best thing I've ever read, you can tell a lot of care went into the characters and craft of the comic. Certain panels were just so beautifully done, and the amount of tension throughout is minimal but perfectly taut. I like that the creator didn't want to spoon-feed the audience and instead just gave readers a glimpse into the lives and worlds of TJ and Amal. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, and if you're looking for something simple yet teeming with life, this is the choice for you.

4.5 stars. This graphic novel has everything so far, except an ending (hence the 0.5 stars waiting to be awarded.) The characters are interesting and beautifully sketched in, especially TJ. The art is clear, evocative, with just the right amount of text. The occasional full color panel is gorgeous. More than worth your time.
