The Starter Boyfriend is a fun story about teenage drama. An easy book to read about a girl and the problems her seventeen year old self deals with.

Drifting between a 2 and a 2.5 stars.
It was you average, everyday, run-of-the-mill YA novel.
Nothing terribly exciting.
Nothing that ripped at my emotions.
Nothing all that memorable from a character point of view.
And some of the surfing terminology kind of turned me off.
But all in all, a decent read, although it probably would've been better to read it at a beach, in the middle of summer. Not just before winter makes it big debut.
That and I loved Tux. There's just something about a mannequin in a tux...
