For their class cultural fair, Andy wants to study the country of Egypt, but Dolores, who insists she is the queen of Egypt, wants to study that as well. Dolores struts all of her Egyptian knowledge and tries to get Andy to work with her on the project, but when she makes his lose a baseball game, he wants nothing to do with her. Once she helps him and decides to pick another country, Andy changes his mind and realizes they could make a great team if they worked on Egypt together.

I actually enjoyed this book very much. It was definitely more of what I would call a level 4, as there was a lot more text, but the pictures were still there to support the story. It felt much more like a chapter book and was the perfect transitional book in terms of words and size. Andy Shane was slightly educational on the topic of African countries, taught a good lesson, and had a funny and interesting story line.
