Every time I read this book it gets better. It's giving Alfred Hitchcock girlboss. Also the movie has Anne Hathaway so that's a selling point

3.5 stars. Moshfegh had a knack for writing unlikable women. I can not say thay I enjoyed this novel. I will say that I it made me feel some things (disturbed, for one), so I have to respect it for that.
