Very cute friends to lovers rom-com. Barely any spice but still enjoyable.

This was a great quick read. I loved the friendship in the book, such a cute group of friends doing life together. Though the idea of dating & falling in love with your best friend isn’t new I enjoyed the spin of involving online dating.
The emphasis on expressing emotions (or lack of) in the book as well as the inclusion of some emotional topics made the booker ‘deeper’ than just another romance novel.
There were also some pretty steamy scenes! 🔥

This was very sweet and lovely—good old identity shenanigans, and a beloved friend group found family situation. Plus, the main character was born in Bellingham!!

it was hard deciding whether i was going to give this book a 2.5 or 3 stars but i went with 3 just because of the friend group lmao. i loved the dynamic of millie's friend group; chris, ed, alex, and reid were all so funny and their banter was great. however, the romance was just kind of... eh. i didn't find reid or millie particularly lovable and they didn't stand out in any way. most of the book was just kind of flat and i didn't care about the romance that much, the guys were the stars of the show to me lol.
