Great story, but it was difficult to follow at times. Sylvia Day had a great storyline in this series, but she is hard to follow at times. I am hooked though and will continue with the series.

OMG, can I say that ??? lol I loved this series, I couldn't get enough. The last paragraph made me a tad bit upset. No worries though, it ends great, just left me hanging and yelling at my book, what??? huh??? WHO??? Pick this series up its worth the read...

This was good, but not as good as the first two. It was a bit all over the place at times and a little hard to follow and keep all the betrayals in order

I just finished with the third book of this series and only gave the series a four star rating. Its a good story, i'm not sure why I am still buying the series though. I can't really pick up the story and lose myself in it for some reason. It's not fast paced like her other books. I kept waiting for it to get good but it just baffled me and I just wanted to read something else. Maybe someone else can identify with the series. I'm three books in and giving up.

A good read with a story and characters I've become invested in almost despite myself. The one major problem I have is its cliffhanger ending.

Great story, lots of action but left me wanting more closure. I like the dynamics between the three of them. I keep secretly hoping that they'd just work it out where Eve could be with both Alec and Reed without causing any major complications. With no promises for more of the story from the author, I want to know what happens to Lilith, Sarakiel, Awan, Hank, the serapaths and who the man was at the end that proposed to Eve....I want to know. I think there's just too much of the story left for it to be "ended".

There is so much going on in Eve of Chaos I won't be able to fit it all in a review. I loved this book and its my favorite in the series so far. I love the relationship between Eve & Reed & Eve & Alec in this book and how everything plays out.

Eve is left dealing with the loss of her boss the Archangel Raguel who she's trying to free from the pits of Hell and at the same time deal with Cain's ascension to archangel. The change isn't going well for Cain and he isn't acting like himself at all. He's wicked nice one moment then a real jerk the next. He pushes Eve away knowing there's something wrong with him because he doesn't want to hurt her. Eve turns to Reed (Abel) hurt and betrayed by Alec (Cain). So, Eve decides to give Reed a chance since she also has feeling for him. While Eve is trying to figure out her feelings for Cain & Abel she's still trying to find a way to save her boss from Hell. How does she do that? She makes a deal with the devil himself of course...

This book is let with a major cliffhanger. There is a short novella (Eve of Warfare) that's after this book that does answer some questions. I really hope the author continues with these characters & this series because there's so much more that can be done.

It's not like I'm enjoying this series enough that I particularly want to read more of it, but the last book of a trilogy and it ends on a flipping cliffhanger? Boo.

Of the three novels in the Marked Series that I've read, this is my least favorite. I didn't like it that Eve can swap boyfriends when it is convenient for her. She can justify that Cain broke up with her so its ok for her to hook up with Abel. But when she learned that Cain and Izzie had sex, "she was still jealous and pissed off." And she looks at Izzie as "making a play with another woman's man." Hey, if you justified having sex with Abel because Cain broke up with you, why are you still thinking of Cain as your man?

This novel was first published in 2009. And if this is the last one, then there's too many unanswered questions. This is beyond a cliffhanger. This is an unfinished story which reminds me of the Renegade Angels Series. Beautiful stories that ended in limbo.

There are so many ways to end this series:
a) the brothers killed each other leaving Eve alone
b) Eve marries Cain and have a professional platonic relationship with Abel (minus the coveting her husband's brother part)
c) the brothers settle their differences and have a ménage a trois with Eve and all three lived happily ever after
d) Cain gets back with his wife. Eve ends up with Abel
e) Armageddon. They all died.

This series could end in so many different scenarios. I can accept any of those. Just don't end with -- What happens next??!! The questions in the reader's mind at the end cancels out the beautiful experience of reading the series.
