Like a short stories collection, it's a hit & miss. The premise was interesting: lives of kids, families, span across the school & the town, how they all affected by a mass shooting & especially, the shooter. The execution? Gets too jumbled & tangled up. It's an ambitious attempt & project, interesting on its own, but well.
Some stories drags too long, some were spot on & impactful, but there's too many names and the pacing is too slow, too many stuff to follow through that sometimes I have to revisit few times to see how some of these stories were connected OR related to each other. Having character list name would really help you, if you're planning to do annotations on this. Just a tip to enjoy this book more. Overall an interesting piece, not so much enjoyable & I take long to eat these up but... very intriguing takes.
there's POV from the gun the shooter use lol it was?? random & funny but appreciated
