This is a short fanzine with a bunch of different stuff in it. If you enjoy re-imagining Harry Potter from different perspectives, this is definitely enjoyable. The Halloween short story in comic form was the standout for me.

Add in thumbing your nose at JK Rowling’s transphobic stance and this book is glorious.

This brought joy to our whole household. We’ve all been fans of Harry Potter to varying degrees over the years. I am angry that the author continues to publicly amplify her transphobic views.
I’m done giving any more money to JKR but I loved paying for this work of love and art and inclusion that also goes to support a good cause.

This book is simply lovely. The quality is of course waivering, this isn't a "professional" book, this is... this is a book that comes straight out of the hearts of its creators. So, I could probably critique something, but... where would be the point when I can simply gush about the things I loved!
The reason why I discovered this is an amazing fanart from upthehillard, I love her work so much.

I adore the trans-woman Hagrid headcannon... I just... I need to read that fanfic (I want to read it so much I considered writing it, but... I don't think I am capable of doing it right.) You can find more on this in The Gayly Propher podcast: https://hashtagruthless.com/listen/2019/6/3/18-hagrid-is-a-beautiful-transwoman-an-interview-with-mey-rude, highly recommend!
I also absolutely loved the Tonk's Tale - the tale is simple, but still very powerful and the art style is super pretty. Then there are the new Chocolate Frog Cards, which... what a marvelous idea! Loving the Room of Requirement headcannon... Then there is the Winky short comics that is really sweet and... Winky deserves a better that what she got from cannon!
I feel like this is getting a bit repetitive, but I really love the Percy comic too. I just... the personalities are perfectly captured... I won't say more since it's so short, but... aahhh. And then there is the Remus comic, which again is absolutely perfect... I absolutely adore the ending of that one. There is also a lot of more personal pieces, which I am not commenting on, because... you know they feel really personal, but some of them were really touching and showed me a side of HP I didn't see before.
Overall, I really loved this small collection, it was lovely... My relationship with HP is really complicated right now, so... I'm glad that this helped me restore it a bit.

This is a 60-page, perfect bound collection of comics, prose and fan art made by trans Harry Potter fans and allies. I am very biased because I created a six page story for the book and it was edited by a dear friend of mine, but I think it's brilliant :) My story is about nonbinary Tonks starting puberty in the summer before starting at Hogwarts and trying to decide which dormitory room suits them. You can find out more and order the book here: https://gumroad.com/l/transHPzine

Super wholesome trans-affirming content containing all your favorite characters. A perfect antidote to the 2020 gloom and doom. I hope they'll do a reprint of the physical book!
