A wonderful collection of rhyming truck poems to share with your construction and transportation obsessed preschooler. Adorable illustrations, a diverse cast of workers, lush vocabulary.

Short poems about construction vehicles. The illustrations are simple and complement the poems well.

Very cute collection of poems about trucks and other exciting machines. This should be a hit with the older preschool crowd!

This book of poetry about large construction vehicles will be a great addition to my Cars and Trucks storytime!

June 2016 - technically poetry, but it can be read like a picture book for the vehicle enthusiast. Enjoyable to read, Ben loved all the trucks and things, and I appreciated that (thank goodness) not all the vehicles are written as male - my pet peeve with stories like [b:Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site|9676990|Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site|Sherri Duskey Rinker|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348749660s/9676990.jpg|14564869].

I have read many many books with to my 3 year old entirely on the basis of them having a truck on the cover, and this is the best of them.

Each page has a poem about some type of truck or industrial machine. The illustrations are nicely detailed, and the poems are cute, fun-to-read, and not overlong.

Highly recommended for little kids who love trucks.

They liked the pictures but the poems were too long winded to keep their attention.

I actually learned a lot about various heavy machinery from this one. Good rhymes and great illustrations too.
