Eh. It was fine. There were parts I liked. I thought the general premise was really fun (and the reason I picked up the book in the first place). There were a lot of things I just didn't believe. I'm annoyed that it doesn't have closure. I want to know what happens to them, but I don't think another book is worth it.

yay giveaways!
I'll start out by saying that many will probably disagree with my shelving this as dystopian, but I stand by it. people's lives are not fully their own and there are governmental controls on procreation and/or who can be with whom. Seems dystopian to me.
The story itself was solid and the characters were interesting. What garnered this an extra star is what the author DIDN'T do. There were various opportunities for creating extraneous and annoying conflict and they chose not to.
