And it's a wrap. God im gonna miss my boys. Corbin and Spencer my beloveds. They're so good to each other. After the incident in the beginning cleared up, they really truly connected and Spencer brought out the best in Corbin. There was many times when Corbin made me cry and I just love him so much. Him truly seeing he deserves better and there was never anything wrong with his body ughhhh so important. Calm, confident, caring cuddle buddy Spencer was so good. He just cares so much about his community and about his man. I love that he's bigger and showed how much he was proud and how much Corbin liked it. I just keep repeating myself but I love them so dearly.

Solid B. Satisfying end to the Vers series - mm contemporary romance about 4 bantering best friends who record a popular gay podcast together.

I found the set up a little silly - the cuddle buddy arrangement definitely required a suspension of disbelief. But I enjoyed the romance and I particularly enjoyed Corbin’s character arc.

How are we already at the end of The Vers Podcast series? I've loved each and every book, and I'm so happy that we now have Corbin getting his own HEA but he has to work for it with what has been hinted at in previous books.
**Content warning for talk of eating disorders, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, bullying, online abuse**
He and Spencer did not have a great start but once misunderstandings and hurts are put to rest, they actually find they quite like spending time with each other, especially as CBs - cuddle buddies. Corbin has the chance to get attention and affection from someone not just with him for his body and the way Spencer talks to and thinks of him has an effect on the way he thinks of himself, his body and anything to do with food. Spencer has always been on the chubby side and, though he was bullied at school, he has come to like how he looks and be comfortable in his skin, something Corbin was never given a chance to do thanks to bullies and his family. The beach bums - Declan, Marcus and Parker - have been there for him since highschool but slightly too late to stop the worst from affecting his mindset. Marcus, especially, has been his biggest support and source of love, but it's not until Spencer comes into the picture and refuses to let him see himself as anything other than perfect the way he is (swoon!) that he can even think of making changes.
Though there are hard topics discussed in this book, the romance is pretty low angst. It's such a good way to finish off the series with all four men now finding their forever person and dealing with something that has plagued Corbin's life for many years. My heart went out to him, the family scenes hit pretty hard, but the love and support of the Beach Bums and the Poddies are what help them all get through. A moving story overall with some really heartfelt scenes. I've loved reading this and am looking forward to hopefully seeing one or two of the characters we've met in their own stories.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

What an amazing book to finish this series! I loved it so much! My heart broke for Corbin and his struggles with his self esteem and his family, and I’m so, so happy that Spencer helped him so much with it all. The Beach Bums are the best friend group anyone can have, and I’m so happy to see all of them so happy! The book deals with very serious topics, without ever getting too heavy but also treating it with the respect it deserves, the balance was so good. This book (the whole series, really) will make you think, make you swoon, make you laugh, and make you lose track of time while reading, go binge it now!

I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book
