This was such a fun, popcorn movie of a book. Fast paced novel about a group of influencers from a TikTok-like app competing in a strange challenge for a $500,000 prize. Most of the characters were super fun (I loved Stella but Francis was kind of a non-entity) and I enjoyed the mystery, but the way it shakes out at the end was a little silly to me. Overall though, great fun.
Moderate: Confinement and Panic attacks/disorders
Minor: Medical content, Racism, Fatphobia, Gaslighting, Injury/Injury detail, Death of parent, and Gun violence

I liked the concept and characters, as well as the imagery, but felt the story was too nonsensical and rushed at the end, to the point where it was genuinely disappointing. So much was also left unexplained, mainly the characters’ backstories. They were implied to be VERY dark, but that never was expanded upon. Also I don’t like how Jewel tormented them, traumatized them, and so on, but it’s fine I guess because they get the company? And she wants to help the world? And Francis lied a LOT but he’s the good love interest? . I’m just so unsatisfied and annoyed at what could have been a very good book.
Graphic: Gaslighting
Lots of manipulation, mentions of past issues, lots of questioning reality.
