I really enjoyed the first half of this collection and generally enjoy when Chin’s poems tell a story—epic or otherwise. I find their voice compelling and enjoyed the insights that the notes section at the back of the book gave. That Half is Almost Gone, Family Restaurant #1, and Bold Beauty were some of my favorites.
