This was a fun read, and I would have loved it as a kid, but I'm obviously not the target audience. The plot was contrived and the characters all a bit clishe, but with that being said, I would totally recommend this to your elementary students looking for a adventurous, fun book.

I read this book as a kid, and this was my first reread as an adult, and it still holds up. A swashbuckling adventure full of fun, a wonderful story for young readers and adults alike. You'll wish airships were real by the end.
