Dark Water Academy is just awesome I love reading book one to this one and to have this prequel where they Jenna and Dom first met was just icing on the cake also Lusa Doms twin is so cool

Meet Alice. She’s unique. She’s special. She’s different. She’s also the girl who has been shuffled from one school to the next, to the next, to the next. Her father isn’t allowed to be around her much because of his drinking problem that has plagued him for years because of her mother. So Alice lives with her grandparents. But she’s turning 16 now, and her whole life is about to change.
Blazing Academy by Avery Song is a short introduction to a new series coming later this year and I am here for it! The author piques my interest in Alice’s story and her unusual but fascinating appearance. I knew, based on this author’s previous books, to expect something unique from Alice, but this book and series promise to be something truly excited. I love the different facets of this story and the dynamics of the various characters that we are introduced to. Alice’s grandparents are normal humans, wanting Alice to live a normal human life, but that is not what fate has determined for her. The surprises the author throws at the reader…O….M…G!!!! My jaw dropped, I squealed and practically dropped a litter of kittens. Haha!
There isn’t anything that I don’t like about this book. The characters are well done and engaging. The family dynamics aren’t perfect but that only adds to this story and makes the characters more life-like. I love it!
If you have read anything by Avery Song before grab this collection of stories and read this one if nothing else! You will NOT regret it! If you’re new to Avery Song and curious…read this story!! You won’t be disappointed and I promise you…you’ll be hooked! I am eagerly anticipating book one later this year. I can hardly stand to wait! I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. October needs to hurry up and get here!
