Meh. It has useful, basic information. But the writing is blah. The story begins with inspiration but then veers into bootstraps-pulling too far. It lacks self-awareness and Clear's voice is off-puttingly white cis male-centered (example: two [literally] unique references to the Dilbert guy as a model of his thesis).
And it's a brief book and Clear purposefully doesn't include many scientific specifics. He wants to focus on his own personal examples rather than the psychology or sociology. I understand why; but it makes for a less interesting book.
The audiobook made this a better experience than if I read a hard-copy. I was able to get other things done while I listened, so it was never wasted time. And Clear is a competent narrator.

pretty good. def written by a man. i was hoping he’d feed me with specific ideas to change myself but that was foolish for me to expect james clear to write a book for my goals specifically. the graphics made me giggle because they were so unnecessary and dumb. i don’t really know how to rate a self help book so i’m just gonna say it was good

This is one of the few books of personal improvement that I had really enjoyed The way this book is write is very engaging and interesting but this book Don't have just that this book have a topic essential for everyone habits one of the hardest things to create right or to destroy and this one gives a lot of strategies to make the habits stick I read this book a long time ago and it help me a lot to create good habits and improve a lot myself but now with this re-read I can see more clearly a lot of things I didn't saw back then so in general if you don't know how to start self-improving books this is a recommendable one so give it a go

It kinda sounded like old people giving me unasked for advice for an entire book (did enjoy his story in the first chapter and the hardcover is just stunning)
