In a pandemic world where one of the things that I mourn is going to museums (even more than "happenings" which is where I first saw the author perform) (although wait, that was a Zoom happening)

I am grateful for this book. It is Trump-era but feels so so long ago, jumping from city to city. But it feels hopeful to me, because all that is required to bring the travel experiences "alive" here is a list that often doesn't have that much to do with the places being visited; we're always mostly in our head anyhow? It's the getting in other people's heads for a time that I miss, and this helped with that.
