I found this very enjoyable! This was one of my free monthly options on Audible, and I was intrigued largely because of the cast.... Even if the cast hadn't been fabulous, though, I'd have loved this story. It really hit home with me, because I can relate to the subject matter. Friendships drift, through no fault of either party.... Moms can't help but take on more than they should, only out of the goodness of their own hearts, often to their detriment.... Despite social media's killing of the Christmas letter, for the most part, some people still insist on sending them out! LOL
Hey, it was a free audiobook, so no loss if people didn't like it. I was lucky enough to be one of those who really enjoyed it! The characters were so easy to relate to!!!

This was great for a christmas roadtrip. It was funny, and kept me interested for the whole time. It followed the story of a couple of college best friends who swore they'd never be the ones writing those awful christmas letters, and then they turn into exactly those people. I'd recommend this if you're going to be in the car over the holidays and need something light to listen to.

Short & sweet. The story of Sugar & Booze was ok. Slightly amusing. Nothing special.

Drivel, just bad rubbish. Don’t bother. It’s mindless to the point of stupidity. It’s just drivel and a waste of listening time.

This is the second year I’ve listened to this. I Loved revisiting Sugar and Booze. It made me laugh, as much, if not more than last time! I felt like I knew them better, which I guess I did. And I picked up on a few more details than last time. I still love the druncles best! God they make me laugh! And just the acknowledgment of growth, stunted growth, and change, welcomed or not, and how life goes on and the effects of the choices we make - all of that putting pressure on loved ones and relationships, it’s just a fun holiday listen that helps us remember what’s really important when we forget in all our “identity” issues.
