A new twist on the dystopian genre. These characters live on another planet and they race cars. Very futuristic and fun! Lots of excitement during the car races.

I was disappointed in Tracked to be honest. I could not engage with Phoebe as a character what so ever and in no way did she develop. I was did not like how
Spoiler Bear turned against his foster sister because she did not reciprocate her feelings. It was actually really uncomfortable that no one even discussed this with him - that it was okay for her not to have the same feelings as him.

I admit that I didn't think I would like this book at all. It borders on being more sci-fi than the usual books I read, but I found the book enjoyable. The length of the book is pretty average as far as YA books are concerned, but I feel like there could have been more to build the characters. After reading the book, I feel like I didn't connect with Phee, Bear, Cash, or any other of the characters. I don't really get a sense of what they look like or what their mannerisms are. It seemed like the overall plot with riots/revolution and racing just overshadowed the characters and their story. I'll be interested in the sequel, [b:Marked|26150765|Marked|Jenny Martin|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/book/50x75-a91bf249278a81aabab721ef782c4a74.png|46106684], but I wonder how much racing will even play into the second book? Will the revolution take over the best parts of the book - the actual racing part? I'll look forward to finding out.

A book that wanted to be about racing but was mainly political from the get-go. Solid overall with some predictable surprises and pacing.

The book was simply amazing! the day i got it, i finished it. Yes, i could have lost some sleep, but it hooked me and i was hungry for the books next move. I love the realistic future of earth, and the way most governments will be run in the future. I can't wait for the next book. I think i might devour it.

I enjoyed this story about a female street racer with a dark past. Hopefully there is a sequel. I would like to know what happened after the fallout. There was a love triangle; however, it worked in this story. The romance was subtle, but steamy without being overly sexual. Great for middle school aged kids.
