By the Angel.
I finished it. It took me way longer than it should have, but I finished it. The last book of The Mortal Instruments - and I have finished it. It's hard to believe that there will be no more books in this series. This is exactly how I felt after finishing Clockwork Princess, as a matter of fact. (On a different note - I was squealing and flailing and crying tears of joy with Jem and Tessa's little moments in the epilogue! And Jem took Church! That makes me immensely happy!) And I was crying for completely different reasons earlier on. Though, I must say, Cassie was trying to psych us out with all the snippets and the hints. It was still painful, but not nearly as bad as I expected. And so far Cassie is the only author who has been able to make me cry during the death of the villain. We'll see where the Shadowhunters take us next with The Dark Artifices and The Last Hours - because Cassandra Clare truly is an amazing writer.

Better than 4 and 5, but overall lacks the excitement of the first three books. Some interesting plot twists but overall I'm glad to be leaving these characters behind. Don't think I'd reread this series again for a while.

I LOOOOOVED TMI. It was such an incredible series to read.
CoHF was an incredible conclusion to the whole series. The ending didn't leave the reader hanging and the quote was the oerfect ending. Although there were certain deaths that occured in the book that I wished haden't happened... Nearly all of them. They were very upsetting. I mean aren't there some deaths that you just don't forget about. The characters weren't big.. And they were normal wanting normal lives but they died instead of getting to live out their lives....
This whole book was adventerous and went along with no blocks in the road. Nothing happened that made me want to not read the book anymore. The hook was amazing. Starting off with a new set of characters and plotline was perfect, and I could also forshafow from the prologue that Emma and Jules were going to be VERY important characters.
I recommend this series to everyone--especially those who enjoy adventure with a but of sci-fi (somewhat) and fantasy.
In all this series was a wonderful story filled eith adventure and many cute love plotlines branching off of the main problem... But being affected by it.
I just love TMI so much--GO READ IT!!!!!!

This pretty much ends the same way as the rest of cassie’s books, it clutches your heart out of your chest and leaves you with teary eyes. It’s a masterpiece.
Every little mention or reminder from the infernal devices hurts and You have no idea how much it hurts me to see tessa and jem but not will with them.
In this books the side characters where more interesting but it can be pretty biased coming from me, first i was sure at the end of the last book that jace and clary are forever so i wasn’t worried about it and jace is a herondale how could i not love him. And I’m genuinely curious about emma and julian’s relationship. And alec and magnus (I’m pretty biased in this case bc magnus owns my heart) just are the best!
P.s: The clave deserves to burn in hell for all i care.

Absolutely amazing. This is definitely one of the best book series I have EVER read. It is rare that whilst reading such a long series with so many different characters, the author is able to make you fall in love with all of the characters and to really make you understand and feel their story. Cassandra Clare without a doubt was able to accomplish this with The Mortal Instruments.

Finally, finished this book. The longest read i ever had.
This is my least favorite book of the series by far.
Still enjoyed it though.
