Whilst this essentially is Fiona and Z's story it also heavily features Cole and Jane, from the third story in Blood Lust, so I would recommend reading that before this.

I liked both Fiona and Z, who were solidly written and consistent characters. It took a little while to understand their personal motivations and backstory. However, given that this is a paranormal romance it's somewhat expected that many character traits are a result of the type of creature they are. It was easy to warm to both characters, despite her phobia Fiona didn't feel weak, in fact I'd go so far as to say she was much stronger than Z in many ways, especially mentally and emotionally.

I would have preferred it had the story focused on just the one couple, with Cole and Jane's story being a novella/short story that preceded this book. I can understand why the author chose to blend to two separate stories that overlapped, but I found it distracting to have my attention split in such a way. Very much personal preference though and as many will enjoy the dual couple element.

The writing, as always, is a solid 4 stars with a good mix of dialogue, inner monologue, action and description. The story moves along at a good pace and there are plenty of humour filled moments as well as scorching hot sex scenes.

I could not let go of this book. The story kept me glued on my chair from the beginning. Fiona and Z relationship develops quite amazingly with ups and downs. I love that we get to see characters from the other books.

Hunted is another great installment in this series of PNR from Kitty Thomas. I love that each book is stand alone in this series but still gives us bits and pieces of past characters so we can see the overall world still developing around each story.

This one focuses on Zane, or Z, a bachelor panther not interested in changing that fact. Enter a lost wolf pup and the housebound Fiona and we have the beginnings of a wild ride. I don't want to give away too much of the story itself but it's fun and steamy and draws you along seamlessly. Its hard to put down, and you'll want the next book and the next once you're done.

This is the third book in the series. Book one, Blood Lust, was actually three short stories, which were great short reads. Book two wasn't as good in my opinion, but still a good read. This one really sealed the deal for me on this series. We have a agoraphobic novice witch and a very dominate and independent panther. Oh, and there is a werewolf pup who was born as a pup and can't shift human until he is 4 or 5. How cute is that?

So, the panther finds the pup and takes him, except the pup wanders. He is found by the witch who ventured out to get the mail. The panther proceeds to kidnap her to get her to babysit while he searches for the pup's pack.

This book brings back many characters from the previous two books. So, we have witches, demons, vampires, shifters (both panther and wolf), did we miss anyone? Just an all around great story.
