Lovely set of short stories. Another gem of what I might qualify as magical realism. A pleasure to read.

I finished this collection of short stories in a day. I like how the stories all have subtle thematic connections, or just tiny points of reference that vaguely connect them to other collections. I also enjoyed the strong Japanese culture that was weaved through, particularly the relationship of spirits to the rest of the world.
