The book itself was very emotion and I connected to it a lot. The writing itself though was not very entertaining and way too fast paced.

I stumbled upon this book on borrowbox while searching for a graphic novel.  Somehow this book of slam poetry caught my eye. 

Poetry is one of those things that can feel real or way too abstract. 

These poetry verses were honest and authentic and told a story. They were raw, full of emotion and you could relate to the character.
