This book was a little boring and long-indeed for me and my kiddos. None of us were really fans of this book.

I'm guessing I just don't get Margaret Wise Brown. I'm not a big "Goodnight Moon" fan, and I certainly didn't like the disjointed mess of "My World." Felt like stream of consciousness for the Pre-K crowd.

This is by the same author as [b:Good Night Moon|10343644|Good Night, Moon|Rudy Rucker|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1302318895s/10343644.jpg|15246372] and is written as a "companion book" to that title. However, the words don't flow as gently as in her other book. In fact, the pattern of the words seemed to fall off kilter. There is an unsettling lack of parallelism from page to page that makes me not want to read the book again.

Margaret Wise Brown is wise in. terms of her book writing skills, as the previous two books in this series attest too. This was a companion book, and felt like it, read the other two, they are more than enough.

I have to admit that this wasn't my favorite after having read "Goodnight Moon" and "Big Red Barn". I felt this one was less cohesive and much more of an abstract book than the others. That being said, I still think it was a fairly strong book with good illustrations.
