What the fuck is this?
I love this series. It has a soft spot for my 14 year old vampire crazed self. Sure it could be boiled down to just a teen goth romance book with vampires, but it's pretty original, and most of the time rereading this series I've been grinning. And I thought I had read this one (all but the last two), but now I'm pretty sure I didn't or I blocked it all out because this was horrible.
It's like Schreiber gave up on this story. The plot here is ridiculous usually we're getting up to shenanigans and drama back to back in this series but this was just about a non-threatening friend coming to town with a nomad complex and chronic instalove syndrome.
Nothing happens. And what does happen doesn't sound like the Vampire Kisses series I've been loving for 8 years. It's just crap..
Onto the next one though. If these last 2 are anything like this it's gonna be a long ending...

This was an entertaining read with Alexander's best friend, Sebastian, in town. Sebastian is almost the complete opposite to Alexander. While Alexander is organized, responsible and shy, Sebastian is messy, outgoing and almost exactly like a kid. When it comes to similarities, Sebastian wants true love as much as Alexander - except he falls in love more easily than Alexander. I really enjoyed and judging by how it ended, I'm going expect a whole lot of trouble in the next book.
